The Urban Antidote art gallery to launch new gallery in Leicester
Local art gallery, The Urban Antidote gallery is set to relocate to a brand new venue this coming weekend.
The gallery, which is currently located in the village of Lutterworth will be moving to Silver Walk in St Martin’s Square in Leicester city centre and will continue to showcase art from some of the world’s most popular artists.
Taking place on Saturday 6 October, the gallery opens its doors to the public with a fantastic launch event. The event will be attended by renowned British artist JJ Adams who is famed for his mixed media work, and will also be showcasing some of his best pieces in the gallery.
Other artists to feature in the gallery will include Paul Oz and De Montfort University graduate, Marcus Dove, who has also seen his work feature in the prestigious Saatchi in London.
Founded by art lover Sara Lovatt back in 2013, the move represents great progress for the gallery as they look set to receive a boost from their new city centre setting. The gallery aims to have something for everyone, so whether you are an expert, or completely new to the world of art, you are sure to find a piece for you.
